¡Hola!
My name is Bea and I am the founder of Pan Comido. I was born and raised in A Coruña, a beautiful coastal city in Galicia, in the northwest of Spain.
When I was little, I used to imagine what being a teacher would be like, and I was sure I would become one when I grew up.
I started to work as a private language tutor (Spanish, English and French) while I was studying English Philology at the University of A Coruña. A few years later I decided to take a step forward and become a Spanish teacher, so I did a master’s degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign language at the International University of La Rioja.
In 2012, I moved to London to develop my career in teaching and to soak up the multiculturalism of this vibrant and exciting city. After having worked for different schools, colleges, and universities, in 2018 I decided to start up my own Spanish school in Richmond, which would later become Pan Comido.
When I’m not teaching or geeking out about grammar or linguistics, I like hiking and travelling to new places.
